Terms of Service

Last updated October 31, 2026

These terms are a plain-English summary of how ChatKeywords works. If anything here is unclear, email hello@chatkeywords.com.

These terms explain the rules for using ChatKeywords: what you can expect from us and what we expect from you.

1.The agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and MJT Ventures LLC, doing business as ChatKeywords (“we”, “us”). They cover your use of chatkeywords.com, the app, our free tools, our API and our MCP server (together, “the service”).

By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you use ChatKeywords for a company, you agree for that company, and you confirm you’re allowed to.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle data.

2.Your account

  • You must be at least 16 to use ChatKeywords.
  • Give us a real email address that you control. You sign in with links sent to it, or with Google.
  • Keep your email account, sessions and API keys secure. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
  • Tell us right away at hello@chatkeywords.com if you think someone else has access.

3.Acceptable use

Please don’t:

  • scrape, copy or resell the service or its data, except your own data and reports;
  • abuse the free tools, for example by automating them or getting around their limits;
  • create many accounts to get around plan limits;
  • try to break, overload or probe the service, or reach data that isn’t yours;
  • use the service for anything illegal, or to harass or harm anyone.

Only track domains you have the right to analyze, such as your own sites or your clients’ sites with their permission. Tracking how AI answers mention your competitors is fine: that uses public information.

Only send us crawler data or server logs for websites you run or are allowed to manage.

4.Free plan

  • The Free plan is free. It has the limits shown on our pricing page, such as the number of tracked questions.
  • If nobody on a Free workspace signs in or clicks a link in one of our emails for 30 days, we pause tracking. Your history stays. Tracking starts again when you sign in or click an email link.
  • We may change Free plan limits. We’ll tell you before we reduce them.

5.Paid plans and billing

  • Paid plans are billed monthly, in advance, through Stripe. Your plan renews each month until you cancel.
  • You can cancel anytime. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you’ve paid for. You keep paid features until then.
  • No refunds for partial periods, except where the law requires them.
  • Prices don’t include taxes unless stated. You pay any taxes that apply.
  • We’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice by email before a price change affects you. If you don’t agree, you can cancel before it starts.

6.Add-ons

  • Extra AI engines (such as Claude and Gemini) are paid add-ons, priced per tracked question per month.
  • Add-on charges change with the number of questions you track.
  • AI providers change their prices. We may adjust add-on prices to match, with 30 days’ notice.

7.AI answers and results

We collect AI answers through each provider’s API (and Google results through DataForSEO). These answers come from third parties. They can be different from what people see in the consumer apps, and they change from run to run.

Our scores and reports are estimates based on those answers. We don’t guarantee that any answer, score or ranking is accurate or complete, or that using ChatKeywords will improve your visibility or rankings.

8.Your data and our service

  • You own your data: the brands, domains, questions, keywords, logos and other content you add.
  • You give us permission to use your data only to run, secure and improve the service for you.
  • We own the service: the software, design, scoring methods and brand.
  • You may use the outputs (answers, scores, reports and exports) for your business and your clients’ businesses, including in your own reports. AI answers may contain third-party content, which belongs to its owners.
  • If you send us feedback, we may use it without owing you anything.

10.API and MCP access

  • You can use the API and MCP server with API keys you create in the app. They access your own workspace data only.
  • Keep keys secret. Don’t put them in public code. Revoke a key if it leaks.
  • Respect rate limits and don’t use the API to get around plan limits.
  • We may change, limit or remove API features. We’ll try to give notice of big changes.

11.Suspension and ending your account

  • We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts the service or other users at risk, or doesn’t pay. Where we reasonably can, we’ll warn you first.
  • You can stop using ChatKeywords and cancel at any time. To delete your account and data, email hello@chatkeywords.com.
  • Sections that by their nature should last (such as ownership, disclaimers, limits of liability and indemnity) continue after your account ends.

12.Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises beyond those in these terms. This includes no implied promises that the service is fit for a particular purpose, error-free or always available.

13.Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or harm to reputation.
  • Our total liability for any claims about the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. If you use only the Free plan, that amount is zero.

Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

14.Indemnity

If someone makes a claim against us because of your content, or because you broke these terms or the law, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim, including legal fees.

15.Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. This doesn’t take away any consumer rights you have under the laws of where you live.

16.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We’ll change the date at the top and, for important changes, email you at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep using the service after that, you accept the new terms. If you don’t agree, you can cancel.
